Taoism medical culture is one of the excellent traditional culture of China and the philosophical thought on which traditional Chinese medicine practitioners rely. It requires the excellent traditional culture of leading medicine, medical Taoism and medical ethics to be practiced based on the culture of the Chinese traditional Book of Changes. As a practitioner of Taoist medicine, Taoist Doctor refers to a practitioner with Taoism Heart. The representative figures are Peng Zu (ancient times), Hua Tuo (Eastern Han Dynasty), Ge Hong (Eastern Jin Dynasty), Sun Simiao (Tang Dynasty), Li Shizhen (Ming Dynasty) and so on. What is Taoism Heart? This puts forward higher requirements for the doctor, which should mean that in addition to the physical treatment of the patient’s body, the doctor should also have more degree of hu-man heart, including more love, more persuade the patient to get rid of those bad habits, to achieve the medical purpose of prevention and timely treatment in advance. Practicing medicine in this way, it is called “Tao”, and it can be called “Taoist Doctor”! “Taoist Doctor” is a great term!
道医文化，是中华优秀传统文化之一，是中医医家之所依托的哲学思想，她要求以中华民族传统《易经》文化为基础，主导医学、医道、医德而践行的优秀传统文化。做为道医行业的从业者，道医，是指有道心的医者。代表人物有，彭祖（上古时代）、华佗（东汉）、葛洪（东晋）、孙思邈（唐代）、李时珍（明代）等等。何为有道心？这对医者提出了更高的要求, 应指医者除了对病人躯体的物理救治之外，还应具有更多的度人之心，其中包括多一份爱心，多多劝导病人改掉那些不好的习惯，达到提前预防、及时救治的医学目的。如此行医，方才谓之有“道”，然可称为“道医”也！“道医”是个伟大的名词！

Chinese Daoism Medical Association is a commu-nity organization, which is jointly initiated by Mount Emei Tandaw Medical Research Institute, Mount Wudang Daoism Medical Health Base, Mount Zhongnan Daoism Medical Association, Shandong Zibo Daoism Medical College, Mount Longhu Daoism Hospital and other rel-evant associations and institutions at home and abroad. As well as Taoist medical practitioners and Taoist health institutions and other vol-untary national organizations. In accordance with the purpose of the Fifth International Taoism Forum to be held in Maoshan, China in September 2023, to deepen the achievements of the previous four forums, to further explore the contemporary value of Taoism, to better adhere to the Sinicization di-rection of Taoism, to highlight the characteristics of internationalization and modernity of Taoism, to show the status of freedom of religious be-lief and the healthy inheritance of Taoism in contemporary China, Enhance the confidence of excellent traditional Chinese culture, en-hance exchanges and cooperation with Daoist, cultural and academic circles in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and abroad, serve the con-struction of the “Belt and Road” and the overall situation of national diplomacy, enhance the international influence of Chinese culture, and build the brand of Daoist communication with foreign countries. In line with the development of the current era, the Chinese Taoism Medical Association is committed to presenting the excellent traditional Chinese culture to the people of the world. In order to better promote the excel-lent traditional Taoism medicine culture of China, we now recruit branch organizations for overseas.
根据2023年9月在中国茅山召开的第五届道教国际论坛的宗旨，深化前四届论坛的成果，继续深入挖掘道教的当代价值，更好地坚持道教的中国化方向，彰显道教国际化和时代化特点，展现中国当代宗教信仰自由状况和道教事业健康传承的态势，增强中华优秀传统文化自信，增进与港澳台地区及国外道教、文化和学术界的交流与合作，服务“一带一路”建设和国家外交大局，提升中华文化的国际影响力，打造道教对外交流品牌。中国道医协会顺应当今时代的发展，致力于将中国传统优秀文化向全世界人民展现。为更好的弘扬中国传统优秀道医文化，现面向海外进行招募分会机构。
1、Declaration conditions 申报条件：
Daoist and folk practitioners from all over the world are engaged in Taoism medicine, Taoist health and I Ching medicine and other related fields. Identify with the Chinese Taoism medical culture, have the Taoism heart, love, willing to carry forward the traditional Chinese Taoism medical culture as the basic condition.
世界各地宫观道医和民间从事道教医学、道教养生和易经医学等相关领域团队/人士。认同中华道医文化，具有道心、爱心，愿意以弘扬中华传统道医文化为基本条件。
2、Overseas team 海外分会（基地）：
The branch will recruit according to the city level branch and county/district (city) level branch in their respective countries and re-gions. In principle, branches at all levels shall carry out corresponding activities within their respective regions.
分会按照所在国家地区市级分会和县区（市）级分会进行招募。原则上，各级分会在本区域内从事开展相应活动。
3、Registration method 报名方式：
Applicants must meet the application requirements and fill out the appli-cation form. After being reviewed and approved, the authorization plate will be issued by the Chinese Taoism Medical Association.
报名者，需满足报名申报条件，填写报名申请表。经审核通过后，由《中国道医协会》颁发授权牌。

The Development History of the Chinese Taoist Medicine Association:
Founded in December 2014, the Chinese Taoist Medicine Association was established to carry forward Taoist medicine and promote its inheritance and development in modern society. The first chief advisor was Master Ren Farong, President of the Chinese Taoist Association, who provided direction for the association’s development. The name “Chinese Taoist Medicine Association” was also inscribed by Master Ren Farong. Currently, President Master Libinghong and Vice President Jiang Jianwen lead the association in steady progress.
The association takes the promotion of Taoist medicine as its core mission, advancing the standardization of the Taoist medicine industry by establishing sound industry norms and standards. Strict guidelines have been formulated for theoretical research, clinical practice, talent cultivation, and service quality control to ensure professional and scientific Taoist medical services.
Meanwhile, the association actively promotes the in-depth integration and inheritance of Taoist medicine within the field of Chinese national medicine, explores classic wisdom of Taoist medicine, combines modern medical concepts, and investigates innovative therapies. With a global vision, it aims to contribute to the global health cause with the unique wisdom of Taoist medicine, continuously enhance human well-being, and help all mankind share a healthy and happy life.
中国道医协会发展历程：
2014年12月，中国道医协会应时而生，旨在弘扬道教医学，推动其在现代社会的传承与发展。首任总顾问由中国道教协会会长任法融道长出任，为协会发展指明方向。“中国道医协会”会名也由任法融道长亲笔题词。现任会长李滨宏道长与副会长蒋建文携手，引领协会稳步前行。
协会以弘扬道教医学为核心使命，通过建立完善的行业规范与标准，推进道医行业规范化进程。从道医理论研究到临床实践，从人才培养到服务质量把控，均制定严格准则，确保道医服务专业、科学。
同时，协会积极推动道教医学在中华民族医学领域的深度融合与传承，挖掘道医经典智慧，结合现代医学理念，探索创新疗法。更着眼全球，期望凭借道医独特智慧，为全球健康事业添砖加瓦，持续提升人类福祉，助力全人类共享健康美好生活。
